>>7323 I'm just gonna roll with it, seeing as to how it's a unanimous decision now. Anywho update, nevertheless.

[x] Not exactly romantic, but you could show Nitori the salvage yard you used to play in when you were a kid; who knows what forgotten treasures you'll find?
Maybe it was the old man and his ramblings from before, but now you feel a bit of nostalgia coming on. You sigh as you take the finishing bite of your yakitori and begin to remember your days as a trouble making youngster; Causin trouble, skippin' school, and best of all, hanging out in the salvage yard. You can't really remember how times you've been there back then, but it was almost as if you lived there. You and your childhood friends just hanging out and well, being kids in general. Ah, those days...so peaceful, and in a war-torn wasteland no less. Now that you think of it, maybe Nitori would like to have a look see at your old sacred hang, it would at least give her a glimpse of what you used to do before you became a defacto soldier, and better still, she could even find some useful materials for her to work with down there.
With this in mind, you stray from Nitori's side, and begin looking around the area, hoping to spot the tell tale sign that indicated what path you used to take in order to find the salvage yard's location. However, being it's been almost 7 years since you actually been anywhere near that a place, you're having a pretty difficult time remembering as to which path you took back then to get to the salvage yard. You were certain it was around here somewhere though...
Nitori looks over to see you're now interested in a small alley, inspecting it from wall to wall in an anxious manner. Needless to say, this behavoir is enough to rouse the kappa's curiosity (as well as concearn for your mental well being). "What's up?" Nitori asked as she finishes the last of her Yakitori.
"I'm looking for the path that leads to my secret hangout." You answer as if it were the most obvious answer there is. Which, in a sense, it actually was. But, to someone like Nitori, this response was just as cryptic as your actions were. You pause for a couple seconds and look back to see Nitori giving you a 'Wut?' look.
Looks like some explanations are in order. "You see, when I was a kid, I used to hang out in this salvage yard not too far from the city..." You explain, as you peer into another alleyway looking to the side to see a small drawing on the side of the left wall, it's hard to make out, but you're certain this was the same drawing you put here 7 years ago.
"A salvage yard?" Nitori, now more than a little interested now that she's heard 'salvage yard', follows behind you as you're now starting to squeeze into the alleyway "Since when did this place have a salvage yard?"
"I dunno, I guess it's always been here, seeing as to I found it when I was like 10 years old" This passage is a tighter squeeze than you last remembered it to be, but then again you were like, 10 when you last visited the ol' scrap yard so it was only natural that you have a hard time fitting in the crevice. Nitori, being naturally slender, doesn't seem to have much trouble squeezing through. "Hey, do you think we'll find some rare treasure or something when we get there?" Nitori asks in an excited tone with you laughing a bit "Maybe so, who knows?"
The initial journey to your destination is shorter than you expected, despite traversing through a long alleyway, and cutting through several abandoned houses. Before you realize it, you find yourself staring into a vacant area, only the vacancy below is filled with scrap metal and junk. "Huh. Looks like we're here already..." You say, catching sight of Nitori who has now caught up to you. With a smile you step aisde to let the kappa take in the view of your sacred hangout. "Well, here we are, my hangout"
Below is an immense crater (which is technically, a sink hole) that is practically filled with scrapped vehicles, machinery and other technological junk that was either leftover from previous battles or has already been there for god knows how long, there is also a trace of buildings inside as well, this being due to them falling inside when the crater grew wider in size due to erosion. Beyond the other side of the junk filled crater is a desolate building that looks to be collapsing on itself. You've never really been over there before, so it's a real mystery as to what's really in there, but if you can take a guess, there shouldn't be anything in there of real value.
"It's alot smaller than I remember, guess it really has been a long time since then..." You sigh humbly, before turning to Nitori, smiling a little. "But, nevertheless, I just thought I'd show you this place, who knows maybe we'll find somethin that's worth salvaging"
Nitori looks around her mouth slightly agape at to what is laid out before her. To others this was a junkyard, a place where machines go when they're worthless, and of no use to the one who uses them. But to mechanics like Nitori, this was a land of plenty, a haven for engineering, with this scrapyard the possiblities for machines and parts was practically boundless. "Is there a way to get down there?" She asks swiftly, the excitement pretty obvious in her tone of voice.
"Uhm, We could try that over there." You point to a fallen building that has toppled over horizantilly into the scrap yard below posing as a makeshift stairway to the junkyard below the steep inclines surrounding it. You don't remember it being there before, but then again a long time has passed since you last came here, so it was possible that it fell in due to the ground eroding away from underneath it. "Great! C'mon let's get going!" Nitori chimes in happily, as she trots off in the direction of the collapsed structure. Seeing her so excited about this place, reminds you of how a child would act if they were in something of a candy shop. After imagining something along the lines of what Nitori would do in a metallic candy, you try to follow behind the kappa who's already gone from sight...
Upon finally reach the ground, the first thing you come to notice is how wrong you were when you said everything was smaller. Looking up you gaze upon The many piles of scrapmetal and old vehicles piled high on top of one another, looming above you like crags of twisted metal and rusted parts. But wait? Where'd Nitori get off too? You look around but there doesn't seem to be any sign of her nearby. You curse quietly to yourself, knowing if you didn't waste time thinking about something as retarded as metal candy (why were you thinking about that anyways?) you probably wouldn't have lost sight of her.
Either way...
[ ] She'll be okay on her own. In the meantime, you'll go explore the area elsewhere.
[ ] You should go searching for her. This place is still pretty dangerous to be wandering around in...
