>>8422 There are four timezones in the US. You need only know I'm in one of them.
Additionally, updates were delayed because after posting the Viraemia and Naked Plague Doctor♀, I discovered I had run low on awesome images to attach to posts, and needed time to stock up. We now return you to your regularly scheduled CREEPAN GAEMS.
---------
You approach the girl, who's still fussing over her clothes. That gash, would she like you to take care of it for her?
"Huh, what gash?" She starts fumbling around herself with her hands, finally hissing in pain when they reach her scalp. "Ow ow, Reimu, you're too rough."
"Ms. Repeat Offender thinks I'm too rough? Maybe I could put her in jail like they do in the outside world."
"I was trying to help this time! You can even ask the youkai with the raincoat who's with you, I thought
she was behind it."
You have to interrupt here. That cut, it may not seem like much now, but cuts to the face and scalp can easily start to bleed heavily. You suggest to her that she let you clean and bandage it before--
"
Before gangrene sets in and the entire skull requires amputation."
The first shrine maiden, the one in blue and white, stands up quickly, and you can tell she'll start backing away from you before she actually does it. You're too busy wondering why you blurted that out to notice her panicking, but another gohei-swat from the second shrine maiden rescues you from introspection again.
"You're a new youkai, right? I should tell you the role of the maiden of the Hakurei Shrine is stop youkai from attacking humans. So don't make me exterminate you, okay? It was a pain to fight you the first time."
But a half-dozen humans attacked you just today. You have to ask her if that's really fair.
"That's different, it's not like humans are a real threat to youkai."
Watching this girl--her name was Reimu, right"--fight the other shrine maiden, you felt some piece of knowledge arise in your mind, despite knowing no one had ever stated it you, that humans were weaker than youkai. However, you can't think of anything that would make her statement make sense. Several of those other humans actually managed to injure you, although the wounds, and even the holes in your clothes, healed rapidly. Maybe you should ask about that later.
But the strange rain is still falling, and everyone seems to be blaming you.
[ ] Ask Reimu what she'll do next, since the blue-white is claiming innocence.
[ ] Go ahead and ask Reimu what she meant about humans not being a threat.
[ ] Offer a suggestion about what to do next (write-in).
