You and Reisen charge forward and into the gap in the shrine. No sooner than you made it through but the barrier snapped back up as abilities of those who were blasting the barrier gave out. You and Reisen look out from inside the shrine, apparently standing in a hallway. To the right is where the normal entrance to the shrine should be, so the pair of you walk slowly and cautiously in that direction. Reaching the entrance hall, you’re struck by how similar this shrine is to the Moriya shrine. The entryway has two halls coming off of it, the door that leads outside and the door that leads to the inner sanctum. There’s a bit of blood on the floor by the inner sanctum.

Looking up at the doors to the inner sanctum, you see that they’re now open. It’s pitch black inside, and it feels like the darkness is trying to press it’s way out into the rest of the room.

The two of you walk up to the door, take one another’s hand, and step inside.

Upon entering, everything seems to have vanished. You can no longer see her, but you can feel Reisen’s hand in yours. That’s comforting, even if you can’t see anything. It feels like there’s nothing beneath your feet, or in any direction at all. You try to walk but get nowhere, or even if you did move, you have no way of knowing. Glancing over your shoulder, the door behind you seems to have vanished. You try to communicate with Reisen, but something seems to be blocking it. Even speaking normally produces no results.

“So. You’ve come. . .” You hear Reimu speak before you see her. She appears before you, her normal red white outfit is now completely white, down to the hair ribbon. She seems to be giving off light, It’s enough that you can now see Reisen out of the corner of your eye.

“This is it then. You’re here to kill me, no? Assassin of Eientei. Or maybe of Yukari, though I don’t know why she wouldn’t do her own dirty work. No matter though. Just know, if you kill me? It’s the end of Gensokyo. There won’t be a single living thing left alive. Not even you, little mister assassin. I doubt that whoever you’re working for thought of that, now did they?” Reimu floats there, extremely calmly. It’s quite unnerving.

Pulling Reimu along behind you, you quickly set to work on the door. The bar across it is quite heavy, and almost seems like it’s jammed in there. You’re having one hell of a time trying to get it out. Behind you, there’s a couple crashes as the pillars fall over in front of the door.

You try to turn to Reisen, only to find that you cannot move. Damnit, this feels like before. . .
Kaguya is leaning against the shrine door, breathing hard. “You’ve done quite well for yourself, for being a failure. It’s surprising that you’ve made it this far. Further than any of the others, but it ends here.” She all but falls down the steps to the courtyard. She limps towards you and Reisen. Shit! This isn’t good. You have to do something!
“I’m sure you’re thinking, right now, that you have to do something. . . I’m not as weak as I was in that damn box. . .” She’s inching closer to you but even she seems to be slowing at this point.

Basically, everything has been part of some strange plan by Yukari, Kaguya, and Eirin, who seem to have created and/or cloned us for some mysterious purpose involving pissing off Reimu and whatnot. After cock-blocking us from any explanations, they seem to decide it's time to end this little masquerade, and move in for the kill. Reisen may or may not know what's going on, tells us she won't let anything happen to us, and pulls some Crazy Eye HAX to disable Yukari and Kaguya, at which point we grab Reimu and Reisen and run the fuck out of there.

Now everyone but us seems to be frozen, Kaguya is coming after us despite not doing so well herself, and now we have to decide among a choice we're not sure will work, a choice that probably won't work, and two choices that have NEVER worked for us in the past.

In short, we're right fucked, and should probably just bend over and kiss our ass goodbye.
