>>90186 When we last left Anonymous, it was only his second day of highschool in this strange new land, yet he had already experienced many things that would drive a person of lesser mental fortitude to doubt their sanity.
Some clarification before we go on.
1) I am not HY, and I am aware that the sole reason some people would think so was more the obscene amount of shoutouts to EoSD than the actual quality of writing.
2) Votes are decided by majority, not by whoever came first. In the case of a tie, I tend to lean on whichever side had fun write-ins.
The little hiccup in the first thread came from the fact that Remi/Flan had more votes when I started writing, and Reisen had more after I hit "submit". I probably should've waited for the voting to calm down a bit, there. I'm sorry.
3) Speaking of write-ins, they're pretty much always welcome, unless I specifically say not to.
4) I tend to not respond to posts much, unless specifically asked for clarification on something. No plot hax or spoilers though (you'll have to find those within the actual story).
So, let's continue...

"I don't know..." Leaning back lightly on your arms, legs crossed, you look at Remilia. "She seems so peaceful right now. It'd be a shame to move her and risk waking her up. Don't you think so, too?" You put on a smile to drive the point home; she returns your smile, nodding.
"You're right... It's been a while since we've spent a night together, after all. Besides, it's not like I don't have room in that huge bed of mine." Chuckling to herself, she looks over at the slumbering Flandre.
"Is that so? Then maybe I could join the two of you?" You try your best to make that sound like an obvious joke, stupid smirk included for emphasis. "That way you won't have to bother about finding me a room, either... It's a shame"
She just stares at you for what seems like at least half a minute.
Before burting into laughter.
"Bwahahaha- ahh, shh, you're going to make me wake up poor Flan, damn you!" Remilia places a hand in front of her mouth, giggling into her palm uncontrollably, her face having turned utterly red.
You wait for her to calm down a little, before gesturing towards Flan again. "Don't worry. She's still sleeping like a baby." You laugh to yourself softly. "She really is innocent, isn't she? How else could she rest so easily." Remilia simply nods in response, eyeing her sister's unconcious face lovingly. Not a care in the world is plaguing that girl's dreams right now.
"She's also making me regret not bringing any pajamas of my own..."
"Tsk. Well, I couldn't possibly find any that'd fit you, so you'll have to go without." She narrows her eyes, staring at you intently. "Naturally, that means you sleep alone. Surely it isn't that easy to get into a girl's bed where you come from?" A sly grin; looks like she figured out that you were joking. Well, at least half-joking - you can't help but wonder what Remilia wears when she goes to sleep...
"Hmm, mistress? Is your 'honored guest' going to be accompanying you to bed tonight? How unusually bold of you, milady." What.
Sakuya seems to have casually entered the room without a noise, and is already busy dusting what little furniture there is, looking at you and a very shocked Remilia with an amused expression on her face.
"Why you lewd woman you..! Think about what you're suggesting!"
"No? Then he is to be your midnight snack?" You wait for it, but she does not tack on '...if you know what I mean.'
Remilia throws one of her shoes at Sakuya, who effortlessly dodges it. Not like it seemed hard or heavy at all, of course. "He was just going to be shown to his room by you and go to sleep. Weren't you?" Eek, those eyes; once again, you have that prey-facing-predator feeling running up your spine, like a gazelle noticing a cheetah poised for a pounce within the tall grass in front of it. Swallowing, you nod affirmatively.
Sakuya seems... disappointed, almost? "Very well milady, I'll show him to a room, then." She makes a beckoning motions towards you with her finger, and you follow as you're told. Before exiting the room, you look back to the two sisters.
"Hey, Remi?"
"Hmm? I'm going to be changing now; shoo, off with you." She hurls her hat in your direction, but it's so light that it simply catches air and flops down on the floor between you.
"I had a lot of fun today." Looking at you quietly for a moment, Remilia smiles in response.
"Well, of course you did! I'm a brilliant host, you know. You should come to one of my parties, sometime! But... yeah. I guess I had fun, too." She winks at you. "You're an interesting guy, you know. Could use a bit more muscle... but still interesting."
You chuckle, more-or-less satisfied with her appraisal for the moment. "In that case, I hope to remain friends with the two of you, both now and in the future. Sweet dreams, Remi," you look over her, to see she's already tucked Flandre in under the covers, Flan's chest slowly rising and falling as she sleeps harmoniously, "and sweet dreams, Flan."
"G'night... Sweet dreams to you too, then. Now get out of here, I won't have you see me in my undergarments!" You close the door before the flying shoe makes an impact with your forehead. Turning around, you see Sakuya waiting for you.
"Are you quite finished? If yes, then follow me to your room." She eyes you up and down while speaking, that amused look still on her carefree face. You can't help but think back on her joking suggestions back in Remilia's room.
"Er... Actually, I was hoping to do some reading and take a bath, before bed. It's been a long day, so I really ought to get cleaned up. Do you think you could..?"
"Long day, huh? I know what you mean... Sometimes, it's almost as if the flow of time in this mansion is slower than outside~" She smirks to herself, as if she had made a witty joke. "The library or the bathroom first, then?"
You remember something. "Actually, I already have a book I borrowed from the library. I can read it in my room after that bath."
"Very well, then. I'll show you to the guest bathroom and prepare a room for you while you bathe." Gesturing for you to follow, the silver-haired head maid proceeds to show you the way. You find yourself recalling some of the layout from memory already - you could probably avoid getting -hopelessly- lost in here already. Looking up ahead at your guide, you can't help but appreciate her appearance. The maid uniform leaves her arms and legs uncovered, showing off hints of a toned, athletic figure, while still maintaining slender and feminine proportions. Those legs look like they could kill. As your eyes move upwards along her legs slowly...
"I would not risk making the mistress jealous by letting your eyes run so freely, if I were you."
Crap, she noticed?
"It's... We're not like that. We've only known each other for two days!" You blurt out a rather non-confident response, though you realize that still doesn't excuse you staring at her ass... Wait, you're still doing it. Stop that.
"Is that so?" She turns around abruptly, your eyes now fixated on her apron. You raise your gaze, becoming temporarily petrified as your eyes lock with hers. Her eyes are narrow, her mouth expressionless. Did you manage to upset her?
"The guest bathroom is here," she says calmly, gesturing to the side at a door you remember passing during Remilia's tour earlier. "Please enjoy yourself, and do not hesitate to call me if you should happen to need anything."
"What, you want to give me a hand in there?" Witty.
"The mistress does not pay me for such services." She took it seriously.
Hurriedly, you once again spout out a flurry of excuses. "It's a joke, a joke! Oh... forget it, I'm going to go take that bath now." You open the door, wanting to get away from this woman before the situation gets any sillier. Her voice hides a faint tinge of amusement once more.
"As you wish. In case I can't hear you, I'll be cleaning in the kitchen. Let me know if you require assistance." Before you can turn around, she's gone.
